BEGIN WITH A COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION
We start your journey with a consultation. We will review everything from type and location of your session, the products that will work best displayed in your home, assistance with your styling and everything in between. The more we know about each other, the more relaxed you will be during your photo session, and the more you will love your images. This is also a great time to review any special accommodations that may be needed.
GETTING READY FOR YOUR SESSION
One member of your party can relax and be pampered with our complimentary makeup and light hair styling service in our separate makeup area. We can use this time to review your styling and color preferences and talk about desired poses and shots. You may also wish to make use of our wardrobe collection. We have a separate dressing room for your family’s clothing changes as well as a well-stocked changing table to accommodate those with little ones.
THE SHOOT
Sessions with KLJ Studios are stress-free. Every family and individual has their own personality and we love to accommodate them all. Our photographers have a combined experience of 20 plus years. We have seen it all! Sessions can either take place in our studio located in Downtown Historic Woodland, California or we can help you choose from one of our favorite outdoor locations. Or you can clue us in on your favorite place!
THE REVEAL APPOINTMENT
The Reveal Appointment is the time when you get to see how fabulous you look in photos! Your images are showcased on our digital ordering system and we take the time to design the right art piece for your home. This is the time when you will finalize your portrait order, so be sure to pick a time when all interested parties can attend. We’ll help you sort through the images and make final decisions on what will look best with your decor. Specializing in wall series and heirloom albums, some of the products we offer are one-of-a-kind. All of them are sure to get you excited about what lies ahead!
DELIVERY
Your print and product order will be ready for pick-up between 3 to 6 weeks depending on what you have purchased. All digital images are ready within 24 to 48 hours after purchase. If you would like us to mail your order to you, let us know and we can make that happen. If you need assistance displaying your images around your home, please let us know and one of our photographers can you assist you with the best design.
YOUR LONG-TERM PLAN
And that’s not the all! Often our families come in year after year. As your children grow and change, you can make sure that you update your images regularly. Knowing this can help us plan your photos so they complement each other over time and look great displayed in your home. Ask us about Little Footprints program, it’s a great one year plan for newborns and other special programs we have.
